Has anyone used fudge (paintbox) dye?
My cousin bought me some for my birthday because I want some blue streaks in my hair! She got me electric blue and my hair is like a dark brown so I’m not sure if I should bleach the areas I want then put the blue over it or just put it straight over my hair? I know someone who uses like this bright pink/purple one and she puts it straight over her dark hair and it’s so bright but I’m not sure if the blue will work the same because it’s a lot darker

I’d bleach it first. From my experience with the fudge dyes, bleaching will give a good result and without it, you can’t really see the colour. They also tend to fade rather quickly for me.

bleach it first to be 100%. if you don’t bleach it there’s a 50% it will turn out bad.

I used paintbox before and my hairs quite a dark drown, putting it straight over just gave it a small colored tone over the top so I decided to dye it a lighter color first, you don’t need to bleach it, at least try a box blonde or something :-)

you’ll need to bleach to blonde it first! and because it’s blue if your hair has any yellow in it it might turn kinda green
